Adarsha, who made his debut as director-cum-hero with Dumbee, is all set to be back with a bang. His latest film Hushaar is slated for release on Friday. His other film was 'Nage Habba', a comedy.

Though both the earlier films did not fare well at the box office, Adarsha is confident about the success of his latest film.

He believes that his hard work will ensure that. He says the 29-day shooting at Sravanadurga forest is the USP of Hushaar. It is believed that the energetic actress Mallika Kapur has also given her best efforts in the film. “I have included a sensitive issue — conversion of Hindus into Christianity — but managed in a way that it will not hurt the sentiments of Christians,” says Adarsha.

If everything goes as per plan, ‘Hushaar’ will be released at 63 theatres across Karnataka.

Adarsha, who has composed the music, claims to have taken 21 days for re-recording. “I can assure that the audience will be glued to their seats while watching the film. No one will become distracted with his/her cellphone inside the theatre. I reduced the duration of ‘Hushaar’ from four hours to 2.18 hours,” Adarsha says.

Hushaar has got an ‘A’ certificate from the Censor Board.

Will it lose family audience? “No. My film is meant for all. I think that the audience is not bothered whether the film has got an ‘A’ or a ‘U’ certificate. For example, Kannada films Gaja and Dhuniya and Telugu film Magadheera got ‘A’ certificates.

These films became a huge hits. I think that my film also will get the same encouragement from the audience,” explains Adarsha.

He claims that he has a number of fans across Karnataka and many a time they wait to meet him at his residence. “I have many fans in Davangere, Shimoga, Mangalore and other places. My films Dumbee and Nage Habba are being screened every month on TV channels.

There is a demand for my films,” he says.
