Prashanth Raj, who proved his mettle with his maiden venture ‘Love Guru’, is all set to exhibit his directorial skills once again with his forthcoming film ‘Gaana Bajaanaa’. The film is expected to hit the silver screen within two weeks.

The specialty of the film is that most of the artistes are from the movie Love Guru. Director Prashanth Raj said that he was thrilled with the overwhelming response from music lovers to the audio of the film that was released a few months ago. “The songs such as ‘Hosadondu hesaridu nanage’, ‘Naanu heega naanenaa’ and ‘Gaana bajaanaa’ have become popular among music lovers. We have spent a lot of money to picturise the title song,” said Prashanth Raj.

According to the director, the duration of the film will be two hours and 10 minutes. He said that Radhika Pandit is at her best in this youth-oriented flick. “She will appear on the screen in a variety of costumes and will gain admiration,” said the director.

Tarun, who played the lead role in ‘Love Guru’, is also set to make a different appearance in this film. “The audience will see Tarun as a body-builder,” the director said.

The director added that efforts are being made to dub ‘Gaana Bajaanaa’ in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. “A premier will be organised for distributors and producers of other language films in Chennai. We had dubbed our earlier film ‘Love Guru’ into Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam,” said the director.

He had a plan to organise an entertainment programme at three centres where ‘Gaana Bajaanaa’ becomes popular among the movie buffs. “The unit members of ‘Gaana Bajaanaa’ will visit three cities to express their gratitude to the people for encouraging this film,” he said.
