BANGALORE: Karnataka Telugu Academy (KTA) celebrated the 89th birthday of Telugu movie icon and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N T Rama Rao on Monday.
On this occasion, NTR National awards were presented to actors Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and Shivarajkumar. On this occasion, Daughter of N T Rama Rao and Minister of State for Human Resource Development D Purandeshwari said, “Only a person’s moral values make people reach higher levels. That’s what my father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao taught us.”
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan spoke about the days of yore and expressed happiness at receiving the award. MLA M Krishnappa and KFCC President Basantkumar Patil were present on the occasion. Famous singer of yesteryears Gana Lahari also attended the event.
