Karthik to Compose Music for Baanadi

Karthik Sharma, as it turns out, has many talents. The boy who gave a stirring performance as a child actor in Case No 18/9 was recently in Endendu Ninagagi in a guest appearance. He has now become the youngest music director in Sandalwood. Director Nagaraj Kote was inspired by one of Karthik’s songs that he had recorded for a television serial and has roped him in to compose the tunes of his upcoming film Baanadi. Karthik has worked in A R Rahman Studio as an audio engineer for a year-and-a-half. He has also done a course in cinematography and worked as an assistant in a couple of films.

Karthik plans to use the tatwapada of Sri Purandaradasa and is likely to have G P Rajarathnam’s Rathan Pada as one of the prominent songs in Baanadi.
