Producer K A Suresh is back from Chennai after meeting P Vasu and has finalised the dates for his upcoming film Shivalinga with Shivarajkumar. “We plan to start shooting on December 15. Vasu and I discussed the schedule and planned everything for the film. It appears to me that the director wants to create a big bang with Shivalinga like the way he did for Apthamitra and Aptharakshaka.
He has a few surprise elements to include in the film and we are currently working on them. However, Vasu does not wish to reveal more about on the subject at this stage. All we can say is that Shivarajkumar will maintain his original personality in this film too,” he says.
The talky portions of Shivalinga will be shot in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Srirangapatna. Currently, the makers are on the verge of finalising the lead actress for the film. And according to Suresh, the team is looking for an outsider. “Another reason for us going to Chennai was to look for a heroine. We had a round of talks with a couple of actresses and we will rope in one that suits the role and can allocate the dates for our film. I don’t wish to mention the names of the actresses we have in mind. But we will make an official announcement soon,” he says.
Right now, Shivarajkumar is busy completing his project Vajrakaya with A Harsha. He is also gearing up for Shivalinga.
