Karnataka Film Workers and Technichians Federation has temporarily called off its strike after the intervention of actor Shivarajkumar who has promised to sort out the issue. The members of the federation were protesting against the formation of another representative body.
Ravindranath, secretary of the Okkuta said, “Shivarajkumar had a long chat with us on Tuesday night and has promised to put an end to the conflict and come up with a permanent solution. He has asked for 10 days’ time, during which period he will speak to several people in the industry and make a decision. Therefore, we called off the strike. We don’t mind waiting for a month, provided the Okkuta gets justice.
