All the people who attended the muhurath of actor Komal's Deal Raja were in for a surprise when Komal confessed that he had accepted this particular film only because of the money. "I don't have any clue about the content nor am I interested to know more about it. My main intention to be a part of Deal Raja was because of the remuneration and nothing else," says the actor. Deal Raja is directed by Raj Gopi and produced by Ravichandra Reddy and Krishnamurthy among others. Abinman Roy is the music director and Jai Anand is the cameraman for the film.
Komal who has had a series of flops has kept his hope afloat on his upcoming horror film Namo Bhootatma.
The comedian-turned-actor who has starred in over 60 films has expressed his dissatisfaction towards the Kannada film industry. "Though I have had flops, I have stood by the producers and even undergone huge personal losses," says the actor. Komal claims that he has lost around Rs 6 crore because of his helping nature as producers are still to pay back the agreed amount to him. "Namo Bhootatma will be my last effort and if doesn't work out on my side, I have decided to walk out of Kannada film industry and settle in Kollywood."
Every hero goes through hits and flops but we wonder if a shift to another industry will help the actor in any way.
