Sudeep to Dance with 100 Women in Ranna

A Sharadhaa

Looks like director Nanda Kishore is weaving one surprise after another for his upcoming Kannada film Ranna.

After having roped in Tollywood composer and singer Devi Sri Prasad to sing a song Jungle Mein Single Sher and What to do, What not to do, the director has actor Sudeep dance to the tunes of V Harikrishna with 100 dancers. The song, penned by Yogaraj Bhat, will be choreographed by Ganesh.

According to the director, the song-shoot, which is going on in Hyderabad, required many female artistes because of the sequence.

“It is an all-girls’ party and Sudeep, the hero of the film, enters the place where he is surrounded by about 40 dancers and 60 models. The song will also see a few heroines, who have worked with Sudeep before, shake a leg with him. The shoot will go on for the next four days,” he says.

Meanwhile, Nanda Kishore has completed a major part of the post-production work and says he will be ready with the first copy in four to five days.

“I am in the assembling stages and just need one track to be inserted, after which I need to apply to the censor board. The audio launch of the movie will take place this week,” he says.

Going by the pace, Ranna might hit the screens in mid April or May 1.
