Kaviraj's Movie Hits Screens in Jan

Dinakar, a producer and a director himself, is pleased with the lyricist’s directorial skills

Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole wrapped its shoot yesterday in Bengaluru. A new feature by Kaviraj and produced by Dinakar under Toogudeepa productions, the film features a fresh pair, Amulya and Suraj Gowda, on screen. While Kaviraj is departing with the team with his last shots for the film, Dinakar, who was always there by Kaviraj’s side overlooking the work, doesn’t feel that MMK is a film from a debutant. “He has given his best, which I could gauge while we were at the edit desk. As a director, when I was helming my first project, I used to feel that I needed some extra shots. But Kaviraj had a neat plan and was extremely well organised. He was confident at every step and knew what he want. After so much work, Kaviraj tells me that it is yet to sink in that he is a director,” says Dinakar.

While the film is currently undergoing post-production work, he is eagerly waiting to bring out with the first copy. “We are hoping for a New Year release as we want to give our film as a gift to all Kannadigas for 2016,” says Dinakar.
