Two Stars Clash in RX Soori

Express News Service

Duniya Vijay likes to keep it real. And most of his movies are a real reflection of how a hero is born out of circumstances. His next, RX Soori written and directed by Srijai is again a film that gives an honest glimpse into our lives and how we can navigate through evil by staying good.

The film gets an interesting touch with the combination of Vijay and Ravi Shankar, a talented and acclaimed actor. “Having watched Ravi Shankar’s works, he surely comes out as a versatile actor,” says Vijay, adding, “His voice is his asset.”

Reasoning out his choice of doing RX Soori, which is an underworld subject Vijay states, “There is a window that opens to goodness in any path that devil traverses. This movie shows the journey of the devil till he finds that good window.”

On his part, Ravi Shankar states that working in a film close to reality is something any actor will look forward to.”More than the commercial element, it is the script that matters. Scriptwriter ShriJai has come upwith a good story with new characterisation s and added a lot of inputs which are quite interesting,” he says. Ravishankar says, “Vijay has done action and I am more appreciated for action dramas, our combination has worked well. It was like two power houses colliding with each other.”

He asserts that the main reason for agreeing to do the film was the conviction of passionate producer KA Suresh. “I have hardly ever found a producer like him. He made sure to come and observe every shot. Such involvement is required,” he says. The romantic crime drama releasing this Friday also sees Akanksha in the lead role with Arjun Janya scoring the music. HC Venu is the cameraperson.
