Ishtakamya, directed by Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar, saw Cubbon Park turning into a film set on Sunday, where a few sequences where shot for the film with lead actors Vijay Suriya of Agnisaakshi fame, Mayuri and Kavya Shetty. The team later posed for a selfie and our cameraperson captured the moment.
The director, back after a sabatical, has taken a unique love story for which the design poster of the film was released by actor-environmentalist Suresh Heblikar on Saturday. A poem called Jenaguva of Jnanpeeth award winner Kuvempu has been used in Ishtakamya, which will be one of the highlights of the film.
Produced by Shankare Gowda Ishtakamya has Ravikumar Sana as the cameraman and Ajaneesh Lokanath has composed the music. Prakash Belavadi, Rangayana Raghu, B Jayashree, Mandya Ramesh, Suman Nagarkar, Chikkanna play prominent roles in the film.
