The recent trailer of Pushpaka Vimana proves that emotions can melt people’s hearts. The trailer which was uploaded on Saturday night, went viral. It crossed 40,000 views in a matter of 40 hours and is still trending. To top it, the trailer is basking in the immense appreciation it has received from the film fraternity itself. Actor and director Rakshit Shetty, Rangitaranga director Anup Bhandari and his brother and actor Nirup Bhandari, Shruti Hariharan, and Samyukta Hornad were among the first to praise the trailer.

Apparently, director Anup Bhandari had written two pages on why it is one of the classic trailers he has come across in recent times. Ramesh Aravind who is playing father to Yuvina Parthiva in the film is overwhelmed by the compliments he has received. “I had all the young actors calling me after they watched the trailer and telling me that the trailer has touched the right chord. They also said that this is the next step for Kannada film industry. Some moments are unexpected magic and cannot be analysed. It does happen at times and it was in case of Pushapaka Vimana,” says Ramesh, adding, “I did get the same feeling when my directorial film Uttama Villain teaser was released. The success of this trailer happened because everything was in place including acting, art direction, lighting, background music and wordings in between. It became a whole package,” he says.

The film was made under Vikyath Production’s banner in association with Wadeyar Film Factory -  a production house encouraging young film directors. Pavan Wadeyar says, “We are inundated with a lot of scripts by passionate directors who have found some unique subjects. The intention is to encourage newcomers and come out with some good films.”
