The team of Saheba, starring Manoranjan and Shanvi Srivastava, has just returned from Italy. They had been there to shoot two songs and a few scenes.
Going by the director's shooting experience, they had to play hide and seek with the monsoon, which played spoilsport. "We landed at a time when there were heavy rains. The best part of Italy is the weather, which changes drastically – like in ten minutes. Despite hurdles, we did not give up. We completed a duet and a situational song, and did some talkie portions. We had gone on a 12-day schedule but wasted one day," he says.
City Express caught hold of some stills from Saheba. They give us a glimpse of the pictureseque landscape captured in different parts of Italy. And, Bharath says he was happy to shoot in Verona. "The beauty of this place is that it is surrounded by castles. We also got to shoot at Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. We walked along its banks for hours, and it seemed never ending. We also shot at Simione, another beautiful location in Italy. If given an opportunity and funds, I would definitely love to go back and shoot an entire film in Italy," he says.
"All these places were decided on after we went there," says Bharath.
The next schedule of Saheba will start from July 2.
"We will be in the last schedule when we complete the talkie portions for 15 days followed with the shoot of two more songs," he says.
The film, made under Jayanna Combines hopes to hit the screens on October 7.
