Run Antony Audio Launch on Vinay Rajkumar's Bday

A Sharadhaa

The audio launch of Run Antony is planned on May 7, coinciding with Vinay Rajkumar's birthday.

Arrangements are currently on to make it a grand event and to make it twice as memorable for the ctor.

Run Antony directed by Raghu Shastry, has music by Manikanth Kadri. It is interesting to learn from the director how he has blended the music with the story, which is a thriller.

"When I started with Run Antony, I intially felt the music and the story were running on parallel tracks. The songs, created by Manikanth, sounded like they were telling a story. So we decided not to do regular sounding. I discussed with the music director whether we can have the song with Sufi-based music, and irregular patterns, which was then created by the music director," he says.

This is Manikanth's first attempt at a thriller and he has given it his best shot. "Initially, I searched for various unused tunes from his bank and picked up two from them while he created three more," says Raghu Shastry, adding,

"Except for a song that has to go with a dream sequence, the rest of the tracks are in a story-telling format, exploring the script, the character and what happens next."

Meanwhile, Raghu Shastry is busy getting the first copy ready. "The producers are targeting May-end. I need to work at least 18 hours to keep up that deadline," he says.

The film made under Vajreshwari Combines is produced by Raghavendra Rajkumar's second son and Vinay's brother, Guru Rajkumar.

Apart from Vinay in the lead role, the film has Rukhsar Mir in the female lead along with Sushmita and Devaraj playing important roles. Manohar Joshi is the cameraman.
