Tilak upbeat about KarvVa

He has Pallavi Talkies, a thriller based on real life incidents, which is coming in July followed by Love On NH4, Just Akasmika, and Anveshi.

A Sharadhaa

When Sandalwood was stunned with the potential of Tilak after the release of Ugramm, he took home a gift with a nugget of satisfaction. He had packed it himself with percepts that craved for unconventional scripts which could prove his talent again and again. And his craving has found form with Karvva, a horror and thriller film, which according to the actor is his second best outing after the career-changing film Ugramm.

“I have never won in the beginning but I have learnt not to lose in the end. I have grown with failure and now I have all the required traits to survive and sustain. In the last 10 years, every day has seen a change in me and I have become a new person every second. While Ugramm was a turning point, Karvva will establish me as an actor,” Tilak asserts.

According to him, the best part of Karvva is the script. “The moment Navaneeth narrated the script, I was sure it is going to be a sure shot winner. The script is the hero and that’s what I like about Karvva,” he says.

Speaking about the horror genre, the actor states that although he has never experienced any incident in real life, he believes evil has a shape. “I believe in it and know that there is positive and negative sides in the world,” says Tilak, who used to be superstitious but not anymore. “I am more confident and calm now. Superstition doesn’t come in between my career. The film is a good product meant only to entertain. Moreover, the elements of horror in Karvva are tastefully done and it is going to give you the chills and thrills, but in a very classy way,” he says.

Tilak has his hands full now as he awaits the release of four films. He has Pallavi Talkies, a thriller based on real life incidents, which is coming in July followed by Love On NH4, Just Akasmika, and Anveshi. “I am waiting for Prashanth Neel to complete KGF for him to start Uggramm Veeram. The franchise is like home, literally,” he signs off.
