Neethu Bala, a newbie in tinsel town, is exceptional for juggling a job in a multinational company and her acting assignment. The actress marks her debut with Megha Alias Maggi, along with Sukrutha Wagle and Tej Gowda.

“I was always been passionate about cinema, even as a child, and that is what led me try my luck in tinsel town,” she says.

“I am a dutiful daughter and therefore made sure that I completed my engineering before pursuing a career in acting.  Luckily, the architectural firm where I currently work is supportive. Now I get to fulfil a longtime wish, of being an actor on silverscreen.”

Though her mother tongue is Malayalam, she is based out of Bengaluru and that helped her learn the local languages.

“I have been living in this city for the last six years,” she says.
The actress had availed a year’s leave at work to complete her shoot, and now she is back at office, awaiting the release of her debut.

“Megha Alias Maggi is a romantic thriller directed by Vishal Puttanna, who is also debuting in this industry,” she says, adding, “I have little to share about this film, but the story comes with a lot of twists and turns, and I believe it is a subject different from what is usually offered to newcomers.”

She is waiting to see the reception to her first movie, before deciding on her next move. “I am keeping my fingers crossed,” she says.
