Beautiful manasugalu dedicated to women

Jayatheertha is all set to release Beautiful Manasugalu.

A Sharadhaa

Not a single day goes by in which we don’t hear of girls being molested or abused, says director Jayatheertha. “One such incident that I read about inspired my next film, and the narrative was further refined after thorough research”.

Jayatheertha is all set to release Beautiful Manasugalu featuring Sathish Ninasam and Sruthi Hariharan.
According to him, the incident that led to the movie took place in 2013. “Though everything about a woman is beautiful, her beauty sometimes becomes her bane,” he says. “The film revolves around a simple romantic story, but society’s insensitiveness causes much distress to the two central characters. The two get entangled in unpleasant incidents leading to a lot of heartache in their relationship.”

Jayatheertha met the victim, who had faced the traumatic incident in Mangaluru, and says that after talking to her he realised that what follows the event is more painful than the event itself.

“Going to the police and facing the society is distressing for them,” he says. “When I met her to hear her side of the story, I got a different story which is Beautiful Manasugalu,” he says.

The director is dedicating the film to women and states that the film is high on drama. “The film has many punch dialogues and songs, and has a commercial value... but ultimately it runs on emotions,” he says.
The film also features Achyuth Kumar, Tabla Naani and Prashanth Siddi apart from a few newcomers including Akshatha, Sandeep, Meghashree and Swati Konde.

The film has music by BJ Bharath and cinematography by Kiran Hampapura.
