Looks like Sandalwood continues to celebrate Women’s Day this week with twowomen-centric films, Urvi and Shuddhi releasing this week. Painter turned director Pradeep Verma chose to mark his entry with a women centric film. City Express speaks to the three leading ladies - Sruthi Hariharan, Shraddha Srinath and Shweta Pandit.
The actresses tell us about Urvi and how each character compares to the spokes of a trishul - bhakti, yukti and shakti.
While Sruthi feels that Pradeep has done a perfect casting, Shraddha feels proud and amused that her name is associated with women centric films. Shweta is of the opinion that Urvi will prove as an eye opener to the society that she feels isn’t open to the darker side.
