CHENNAI: Director Prem says he is thrilled to work with veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty in upcoming Kannada action thriller "Villain".

"The entire team is thrilled to be working with Mithun sir. I can't talk about his character but I can say he plays a pivotal role. He joins the sets from May 18," Prem told IANS.

The project, which stars two superstars Shivrajkumar and Sudeep in the lead, marks the Kannada film debut of Mithun.

After wrapping up the next schedule in Karnataka, the crew will head to England for a brief schedule.

The film will be high on graphics.

"Eight companies have already begun work on the graphics. Even though we are still shooting, post-production work has begun because we can't wait till the shoot gets over. Otherwise, it will delay the release of the film," Prem said.

"Villain" is one of the most anticipated Kannada releases of the year.
