Puneeth Rajkumar is great on the dance floor. And having choreographer-turned-director  Harsha guiding his moves will only double the fun. Harsha is helming Anjaniputra starring Puneeth, and he is also choreographed the introductory song for the actor.

The filmmakers have shared a few stills with City Express and we see the star making his perfect moves and in style. “The industry practice is to first release the stills of the film, which are usually of the hero and heroine or something to do with action,” says the director. “I wanted to start talking about Anjaniputra with this introductory song, which is sure to start a fan frenzy.” The director has brought actress Hariprriya to be part of the track.

“In this song, he dances like there is no tomorrow. This song will definitely get the audience dancing with him,” says the director, who has given him some special moves in the opening song.

As a choreograher, Harsha has many opportunities to distinct dance steps for various actors. Having an excellent dancer to direct is only a plus point, he says. “Like Puneeth, we have other excellent dancers like Yash and Dhruva Sarja among few others in the industry.”

The makers have completed 50 per cent of the shoot and are waiting for Puneeth to return to the sets of the film. The actor is now taking care of his mother’s (Parvathamma Rajkumar’s) health. “We hope to start from next week,” the director says.
