This Diwali, British Parliament honours Darshan for his contribution to Kannada films

The actor will fly to London to receive the award on October 19; he is first south Indian actor to receive the award

It is a proud moment for Karanataka and Kannada film industry with Darshan being honoured by the Biritsh Parliament House for his contribution to Kannada film industry and for being an excellent exhilarator. The Challenging Star will be first south Indian actor to receive this special honour.

The previous reciepients honoured with this award at the British Parliament House are Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, among others. 

Manjunath Viswakarma, Chairman of UK Karnataka Business Chamber, is coordinating this event.

Virendra Sharma, Member of  Parliament, Ealing-Southall, and also a Chair, Indo-British All Party Parliamentary Group invited Darshan to receive this special honour.

This event has been organised by UK Karnataka Business Chamber, which is striving to promote the art and culture relationships between United Kingdom and Karnataka. Darshan is happy with this appreciation and he will be in flying to London to receive the award scheduled on October 19. During this event, Darshan would discuss about the business opportunities in Karnataka film industry.
