Diganth, who is currently waiting for the release of his two films, Katheyondhu Shuruvagide and Fortuner, is now concentrating on another passion — cricket. The actor is happy to host the current IPL season on Star Suvarna Plus, which is being telecasted for Kananda audiences.

The actor, who enjoys biking and playing badminton, says that cricket is a game he has always loved to watch and play. He says. “By hosting the show, I get to meet top cricket stars such as Anil Kumble, “ he says.

Katheyondu Shuruvagide, Diganth's upcoming film, is Senna Hegde's directorial debut and a romantic entertainer starring Pooja Devariya as female lead. The film is jointly produced by Rakshit Shetty and Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah.

Katheyondu Shuruvagide shot in scenic locations of Puducherry and Karwar, runs with just 7 characters and the journey is carried through sync sound."At this moment audience can look forward to a beach journey," Pushakara says, adding that the film is now in post-production work and the makers have plans to release it in June.
