Fifty per cent of the talkie portions of Radhakrishna's upcoming directorial, which is set to launch Kireeti Reddy, are complete.

Talking about his acting experience, especially working with Ravichandran, Kireeti says, "Working with Ravichandran sir was unbelievable for me. It's a dream come true for me, and my happiness working with him cannot be expressed in words."

The debut actor exudes confidence about the project, and says, "Everything is going right for the film, and the entire team is positive about the project." Kireeti's debut starring Sreeleela as the heroine also marks the return of Genelia Ritesh Deshmukh to South cinema, and the team recently filmed scenes with them in Bengaluru. It could be unnerving for a debut actor to share screen space with such big names.

However, Kireeti has no such hesitation about his acting debut. "I was already prepared, and I am confident about facing the camera. But I feel privileged to work with such an experienced cast and crew," he says, adding that his learning curve is progressing the right way.

Son of political bigwig Gali Janardhan Reddy, Kireeti shares that the former's presence on the sets is a guiding force. "It was his dream to become a director. In some ways, he is now seeing a part of his dream come true through me, and my dream is to make him proud of me," says Kireeti. Incidentally, Shivarajkumar recently visited the sets of the film.

"Shivanna sir saw the rushes and was extremely proud and happy to see the output. It's the biggest blessing I can ever receive," says Kireeti. In the upcoming schedule, the makers are planning to shoot the action sequences, and it is expected to begin filming by the end of September. With stunt choreography by Peter Hein, the project, backed by Sai Korrapati, will have music and cinematography by Devi Sri Prasad and K Senthil Kumar, respectively.
