'Rithu' Rima switches to Tamil

The actress who made her debut in Malayalam with 'Rithu' has accepted an offer to star with Bharath in 'Yuvan Yuvathi'.

KOCHI: Yet another Mollywood actress makes her debut in the Tamil film industry.

Rima Kallingal, who won the first runner up in the Miss Kerala 2008 contest, pairs up with '4 The Students' fame Bharath in 'Yuvan Yuvathi', which is said to be a romantic flick.

The film, which is going to be the lines of 'Kandaen Kaadhalai', will mark Rima's debut in Tamil. Her first film in Malayalam was director Shyamaprasad's 'Rithu'. The film was about the life of modern day's youngsters who work in IT industry. Rima's Tamil film is going to be directed by GNR Kumaravelan. Music is by Vijay Antony.
