The music of ‘Anbulla Kamal’, originally titled ‘Four Friends’ in Malayalam in which actor Kamal Haasan does a cameo, was launched on Thursday at AVM.

Speaking at the launch, Kamal’s elder brother Charu Haasan recalled events from the past. He said he was already married by the time Kamal Haasan was born. “I have watched Kamal’s first movie a 100 times, as I took him to all the theatres wherever ‘Kalathur Kannamma’ was being screened. And I also broke into tears when I happened to act for the first time in his movie,” said the veteran actor.

‘Anbulla Kamal’ has six songs and the music has been scored by M Jeyachandran. Muthubarathi, Eknath and Danukarthik have penned the lyrics.

The movie is about four cancer patients from different walks of life. It tells the story of how they get together and cope with the disease. Kamal Haasan appears as himself in the movie.
