Much of Mammootty’s stardom rested on the genius of talented directors. But he’s not had the same kind of success with younger directors. Hopefully, Deepu Karunakaran of Crazy Gopalan fame will turn things round with a new film with Mammootty in which he plays a fireman. We’re warming up to the idea.
