Karie to be Released via Cinema Cab

Malayalam film Karie directed by Shanavas Naranippuzha will be released through ‘Cinema  Cab’ across the state by the Thiruvananthapuram-based film society Kazhcha film forum. The Cinema Cab, comprising of a high quality projector and other equipments, will screen the movie before select gatherings with the support of local film clubs and societies across the state. The release of Karie through this relatively new medium is expected to happen in early August. “Karie has both aesthetic quality and social relevance, so we have decided to screen the movie in the cab,” said director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, one of the founders of Kazhcha.

In the first phase of Cinema Cab, Kazhcha film forum had screened Six Feet High (Oralpokkam) directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, in more than hundred venues around kerala. The new release will include venues that associated in the first initiative along with new ones.
