Retro remake

Malayalam cinema’s sensation Nivin Pauly is acting in a Tamil remake of Kannada super hit Ulidavaru Kandanthe. The film is being directed by Gautham Ramachandran and is being shot around Tuticorin. Natty aka Nataraj also stars in the remake titled Avargal, which is also the name of director K Balachander’s 1977 film that starred Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in lead roles.
