Director Ammu Ramesh has signed actors like Poonam Bajwa and Narain to play the lead roles in this Tamil flick. Thambikottai is based on rural set up and shows the real condition of a village of the same name near Thanjavur district. It will also narrate a story based on the happenings in the locality.
The action film was set to release during Diwali but the post production was incomplete so it got delayed and is not ready to release on 31st December.
Narain and Poonam will be cast as the lead pair in the film and supporting roles will be played by Sangeetha, Meena and Prabhu. Their characters are very important for the story of film, which claims to be a rib tickler. It has four well known comedians like MS Bhaskar, Santhanam, Mano Bala and Ganja Karuppu.
RK Suresh is the producer of the movie, which has music by D Imman. We doubt if the movie can attract much attention on the on 31st December because most of the people would be busy partying around on the New Year eve.
