Director Geetha Krishna seems to be obsessed with coffee. Known for films like, Sankeertana, Kokila and Keechurallu, the director, is said to have been inspired by the caffeine effect. He has announced his next flick Koffi Bar at the Coffee Shop Beenz in Jubilee Hills in the city on Wednesday.

Featuring a mix of established and upcoming artistes, the film will hit the floors in the second week of January. Geetha Krishna who claims to have good sense of music, is rendering the same for the flick.

“Definitely Koffi Bar is going to be a feel good film. It’s a new genre. We have chosen not to reveal either the cast or the story. As it’s a creative film, I hope the suspense will benefit the film,’’ said the director.

“It’s with Geetha Krishna, I have started off my career as a lyricist. Because of him, I had the privilege of participating in music sittings along with Ilayaraja. Three songs of the film have already been recorded,’’ said Vanamali.

“After K Viswanath and Raghavendra Rao, Geetha Krishna has a good music sense,’’ he added.

Prakash is the cinematographer. Geetha Krishna is producing the film under Blue Fox Cinema banner.
