Anybody with an ear for music will acknowledge music duo Sabesh-Murali’s talent when it comes to scoring background scores. The two, who made waves with their music in 'Thavamai Thavamirundhu', are back with Cheran's next project 'Pokkisham'. And this time, composing for a period film seems a challenge well met. "We composed music on a boat house in Alappey, Kerala. Lyricist Yubarathy, is also sure to recall the serene ambience in which we made music," they say. The film has only three full songs but the album features 10 songs, the rest being smaller songs.

"We've also played with the format of the song for a change, instead of the pallavi, anu pallavi and saranam form," says Cheran, whose 'Pokkisham' will hit screens end-May. The audio was launched amidst much glitz on Sunday. The film is being produced by Hitesh Jhabak.
