It is now confirmed that Kamal Haasan will not be part of director Bharatbala’s 19th Step. The film, featuring Asin and Japanese superstar Tadanobu Asano in the lead, originally had Kamal Haasan reprising the role of a martial arts guru for Asin.
Later, Kamal Haasan, who wanted few changes incorporated in the script, backed out when the changes couldn’t be effected. It is now suspected that Vikram may be doing that role, as he was offered it initially.
The film is being producced by Walt Disney and has music by AR Rahman.
