Actress Namitha, whose birthday falls on May 10, celebrated the day with her family for the first time since she became a popular heroine. “It has been four long years since I spent the day with them. It has always been hectic shoots or other work for these years,” says the actress.
This time, however, on her grandpa’s insistence, the actress has made it a point to devote the day to her family entirely, and had flown to Mumbai prior to her birthday.
This had piqued her fans, who made her birthday celebrations last year, almost a local festivity. They instead celebrated the day giving out computers and stationary to students of the Namita Evening Tuition Center at Somaiyanoor, Coimbatore.
