Shruti Haasan is going great guns. The singer, actress and musician has become the first Indian artist to collaborate on a big international rock music project. She will write the lyrics and sing a track with rock icon David Kushner of the acclaimed band Velvet Revolver. She is expected to leave for the United States to work for the song which will be aired globally.
“This is a dream come true! I love Dave’s songs. He is an icon. I was really excited when the offer came to me. I will try to give my best to the project”, says Shruti, daughter of Kamal Haasan.
Meanwhile, she is busy with her role as an actress and is currently acting opposite Surya for the much awaited ‘7 am Arivu’ directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin besides working for a Telugu movie produced by Disney.
