She might not have been seen on the big screen for a while. But don’t ever let that make you write her off. Sunaina seems to be well and truly set to make an impression in Kollywood. The actress has two Tamil films, including the Vishal-starrer, Samaran, in her kitty and if one is to go by what industry sources have to say about the films, then the lady is bound to make it big very soon.

Says Sunaina, in an indignant tone, “It is just that I have been busy working on films that I have had no time for interviews. After Vamsam, I have been working on Samaran, which features Vishal and Trisha, and on Thirutani with Bharath.”

C0mmenting on her role in Samaran, the actress discloses, “I play Vishal’s  girl friend in the movie and my skin tone will be  like how it was before Vamsam. Actually, for Vamsam, I had to get tanned and I had become really dark. It was hard getting back my natural colour.”  Sources in the industry say that the actress had been part of the cast and crew that had shot the first schedule of the film in Ooty.

Draw her attention to this fact and Sunaina says, “Yes, we recently shot for the first schedule of Samaran in Ooty. We shot for three days and it was freezing cold as the winter season has set in. In fact, it was so cold that I kept forgetting my lines. That is something that has never happened before. I’m really professional and good when it comes to delivering my dialogues. However, the chillness left me numb and I had a difficult time coping with the weather. But then, the team was very understanding and gave me time to deliver my lines.”

She continues, “Director Thiru however kept telling me, ‘You have to get used to the cold weather. If you can’t tolerate this, how will you manage when we shoot a song with you and Vishal in France.’”

The team is leaving for Bangkok first and Sunaina is bound to join them later.  On her other film, the actress says before signing off,“The movie is being directed by Perarasu sir and will feature Bharath and me in the lead. I have finished my portions for the film and I can tell you that it is a character that has as much importance as that of the hero.”
