Hansika is annoyed. And she makes no bones about the fact that she is displeased.
“I have been reading these baseless reports about me and Prabhu Anna. At first, I kept mum, thinking that these rumours would die down all by themselves. But after a point, such reports start hurting one’s dignity. It’s big shame that they have written like this,” she fumes and goes on to explain why she chose to respond to such reports on Twitter. “People who know me know the truth. But it can affect the perception of those who don’t. It is for this reason that I tweeted the truth,” says the actor.
Hansika had tweeted, “This story (referring to a baseless report) has no spice. So please drop it there as a brother and sister can never be linked up!”
She responded a second time with another tweet that read, “Well, I chose to be dignified and I kept quiet about the rumours that are going around about me and Prabhu Deva. How can people even come up with something like this? He is like an elder brother to me and I am like a kid to him. In fact, he calls me ‘Kiddo’. The bond that we share is that of a brother and a sister.”
The actor, who has three movies in Tamil, is now gearing up to work with Suriya’s next.
Hansika signs off, “I have ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’, a film with Simbu and a film with Suriya sir which is being directed by Hari. I will be beginning work shortly on Hari sir’s film.”
