Director Pandiraj, who introduced actors Vimal and Arulnidhi in his earlier films, has done it once again with his third film, Marina, too. Though Sivakarthiyan is well known on TV, he makes his debut as a full-fledged actor with Marina.
On the technical side, Vijay makes his debut as a cinematographer with this movie. “When I was an assistant director, Vijay was working as an assistant still photographer. When I became a director, he had grown as a photographer. So, I decided to introduce him as a cinematographer,” said Pandiraj at a meet, recently.
The music director of Marina, Girish, is a newcomer too. “I was always suspicious of Girish, because he looked too young for his knowledge in music. But he soon proved that he is really talented,” said Pandiraj. Athiappan Siva is introducing as an editor. Marina will also mark the debut of Pandiraj as a producer with Pasanga Productions.
