Director SJ Suryah’s directorial venture in Tamil after a long hiatus, 'Isai', for which he has also turned composer, seems to be progressing at a brisk pace. Director Vishnuvardhan has done a cameo in the film in which Suryah plays the lead role.

Quiz him about it, and Suryah says, “Actually, four directors are to appear as themselves in the film. One of them is Vishnuvardhan and scenes involving him directing a film sequence were shot at an IT park near Tambaram. He is there in the second schedule of shoot as well.”

With 'Isai' being a film about plagiarism in the music industry, there will be scenes showing Suryah interacting with filmmakers. The 'Khushi' director says he is in talks with three other directors to appear in the film.

SJ Suryah is also planning on bringing a top Bollywood actor to shake a leg for a song in the film. Confirming that he has approached Kareena Kapoor, Suryah said he was waiting for her response. This is for a peppy number in the film along the lines of 'Sheela Ki Jawaani'.

The director will start the second schedule in July and shooting is likely to take place in Kelambakkam.
