Director Krishna of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame is almost done with his next flick titled Nedunchalai. Based on the real life of a person who lived until recently, the period flick set in the 1980s, will be a different experience for the audience, according to him. Actor Aari of Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakkathilae fame plays the lead role, while debutant Shivatha is the female lead.

Krishna is of the opinion that the fight sequences of the film will be one of the highlights.

“We shot the stunts alone for 25 days and stunt choreographer Dileep Subbarayan has attempted different sequences in the film. It’s a different venture for him too,” he says. According to Krishna, the stunts are very much part of the film. He adds that without the fight sequences, the film will not have its edge.

Music director Sathya has composed five tracks for the film and the audio will be released in January 2013.
