Director S Sakthivel, who made Kandha Kottai with actors Nakul and Poorna in lead, has started shooting his next flick. Titled Ego, the film has newcomer Velu playing the hero and Anaswara debuts as heroine. Actor Bala, who shot to fame with the serial Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal aired on Vijay TV, plays a prominent comedian in the film. How a few lies throw the lives of the couple out of gear and what happens next has been scripted in an engaging manner in Ego, according to the director.
The first schedule of shooting has taken place in Coimbatore and the second and third schedule have been planned in Chennai and Hyderabad. The songs alone will be shot in New Zealand. Kash Villanz has composed music and Dhina has done the background score.
