Says a source close to the actress, “Nayanthara wanted to donate to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund right from the time an appeal for funds was made to help those affected by the cyclonic storm Thane. She had sought an appointment a week ago. That appointment was granted recently and she flew down to the city to make a donation of Rs five lakhs.”
