Not in hurry to sign films: Vijay Sethupathi

Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was on a success spree in 2012 with films such as "Pizza" and "Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom", says movie offers are pouring in but he's in no hurry to sign films.

"It is not that I don't want to sign films, but I don't want to accept any film coming my way. I have been hearing a lot of scripts and the fact is that even if I want to do these films, I seldom find time as I already have three projects in my kitty," Vijay told IANS.

He is currently busy filming Tamil romantic-drama "Rummy" and "Soodhu Kavvum"; the third Tamil film "Pannaiyarum Padminiyum" is in pre-production phase.

All three films are directed by newcomers, but he is not worried.

"I don't choose my directors, but I choose my scripts wisely. I don't want do films for the fun of it. If my last two films were successful, it is because they were different and I will strive to do such films going forward," he added.

Meanwhile, Vijay's "Pizza" is being remade in Hindi. Filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar recently bought the remake rights of the film, which is likely to go on floors soon.
