Karu Palaniappan shoots in the jungles

It’s the season of remakes of good and successful films from across the country.

Several successful Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films are being remade at present in Tamil. Chennaiyil Oru Naal and Settai are to name a few.

Karu Palaniappan, who directed films such as Partheban Kanavu and Pirivom Sandippom and turned a hero later with Manthira Punnagai, is now directing a remake. His next film, Jannal Oram, currently under production, is a remake of the Malayalam film Ordinary.

The star cast is an impressive line up of Parthepan, Vimal, Poorna, Vidharth, Iniya, Ramana, Sriranjini and others.

The shoot has been going on in the thick jungles of Kerala for some time now. A giant set has been put up at Kuttikaanam in the Idukki district in Kerala where the unit has been shooting. A month-long shoot ensued after which the unit took a break.

Now, it seems the director and his team are heading  to the jungles again. This time, the shooting will take place in scenic locales in the lush valleys. Later, the unit is expected  to move from Kerala to Kodaikanal for the shooting.

With all the greenery being shot, looks like the film is going to be an aesthetic experience for the viewers.
