Hari's Radiopetti Goes Global

Express News Service

Director Hari Vishwanath’s Radiopetti, which deals with the topic of senior citizens and their inability to cope with the pace of today’s world, which leads to a life of loneliness, has created a buzz and added yet another feather to the director’s cap. After being screened at several film festivals across the globe including the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea earlier this year, the film has now been selected for Indian Panaroma 2015. Radiopetti is the only Tamil film to have made it to this elite list of films that will be screened in Goa at the 46th International Film Festival of India, 2015. Radiopetti is one of 26 films that the 13-member jury, headed by filmmaker Aribam Syam Sharma, chose out of 230 eligible entries.

The jury, which included director Major Ravi and producer Tapan Biswas, took 27 days to choose the final list of films.
