Music director Ghibran is looking to travel to different countries to promote his songs in the romantic musical comedy movie Chennai 2 Singapore. Directed by Abbas Akbar, a debutante director, the film has been produced by Comicbook Films India Private Ltd and backed by the Media Development Authority of Singapore. The movie stars newcomers Gokul Anand and Anju Kurian.
Sources say that the film has six songs and that the team plans to release each song in a different country. Says a source, “Kamal Haasan sir has expressed his wishes to the team for its innovative musical launch attempt. The team will drive from Chennai to Singapore through six countries and release a song from the album at each country.”
