Ravi-Sayyeshaa project gets a title

Jayam Ravi’s upcoming film directed by Vijay has been titled Vanamagan (The son of nature). Shivaay fame Sayyeshaa, will be making her K’town debut with this film. “Vijay had approached her after watching Akhil  (2015) and thought she would fit the bill. She attended acting workshops before shooting,” said a source.

While Ravi plays a tribal man, Prakash Raj will be seen as a powerful industrialist. The film has entrepreneur Sam Paul as an evil cop, and Thambi Ramaiah, Sanjay Bharathi and Varun in important roles.

The film explore human emotions from a different angle. Madhan Karky has penned the lyrics for songs by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by Vijay’s Think Big Studios.
