Tamannaah, who recently went on a vacation during the New Year, has returned and is back to work. On Wednesday, the actor joined the team of Dharmadurai, which stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead and is being directed by Seenu Ramasamy.
The actor took to social media to make the announcement. She tweeted, “On my way to Madurai to start my new Tamil film Dharmadurai with Seenuramasamy, VijaySethupathi . Super excited!!!!” Interestingly, Dharmadurai will see Radhika Sarathkumar play Vijay Sethupathi’s mother again. It may be recalled that the actor had played Vijay Sethupathi’s mother in Naanum Rowdy Thaan (2015).
Radhika earlier stated she had chosen to take up this role only because of Vijay Sethupathi, Vairamuthu and Seenu Ramasamy, all of whom convinced her to accept this role. Radhika had, on a social networking site, said, “Vairamuthu sir, Seenu Ramasamy and Vijay Sethupathy, who convinced me to do this film. Humbled by their confidence.”
