Veteran actor Saroja Devi has donated a sum of five lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The actor made the contribution recently at an event organised to celebrate her birthday.
Several actors including Sivakumar, Manobala and other members of the Nadigar Sangam took part in the event. Speaking on the occasion, the veteran actress said,” I have donated a sum of `5 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund with the intention of being helpful to others.”
