It’s well-known that Santhosh Narayanan is open to experimenting with new talent. Now, here’s a chance for college students to work with the music director! The team of Server Sundaram is conducting a contest to find a fresh voice for their film! All you have to do is record a song for a minute and send the MP3 sample to voicehunt4serversundaram@gmail.com with your name and contact details by July 15.
“We want a different voice. The only requirement is that the student should have neither won any reality shows nor have any playback singing experience. We have received 100 entries and a few are exceptional. By July 17 or 18, we’ll have to record the song because after July 25, we’ll be shooting at the SRM University campus, Kattankulathur,” says director Anand Balki.
Featuring Santhanam and Vaibhavi Shandilya in the lead, Server Sundaram will also have Bijesh (actor Nagesh’s grandson) in an important role. “We’re planning to release it for Diwali, but let’s see how it goes,” Anand adds.
The story is about the life of a catering student who makes it big on an international level.
