Earlier, there were rumours that Prabhu Deva was trying to get Shahid Kapoor on board to reprise Ram Charan’s character in the Hindi remake of the hit film Magadheera (2009). After the Bollywood actor opted out of the project, till date it’s not known who’ll replace him.

It looks like after Devi(l), the choreographer-actor-filmmaker is busy working on the script of a multistarrer, which has Karthi and Vishal in the lead roles, tentatively titled Karuppu Raja

Vella Raja. Once he completes this, we hear, he’s likely to start working on the Hindi remake of Magadheera.

It’s not new to Prabhu Deva to remake Telugu/Tamil projects in Hindi. He remade films like Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), Vikramarkudu (2006) and Pokkiri (2007). It’s being said that he’ll kickstart this one next year. Prabhu has a massive fan following in Hindi; so, expectations are naturally high for this one too.
